Non-Hodgkin's LymphomaPrayer List
Please pray for the following people.
Robert
My husband and I have just returned from Mayo Clinic. Since 1989 he has been dealing with small cell non-hodgkins. He has had three surgeries and two rounds of chemo. One week ago he had his spleen removed because of low platlette counts, we thought we were returning for a follow up visit but that was not the situation. Our doctor proceeds to tell us that the pathology report shows the cancer has developed into large cell and they must do a much more aggressive chem plus a stem cell transplant. We were not expecting this news and were totally blown away. Like I said we have been dealing with this for along time and have had many ups and downs but for everyone that faces this journey I say to you that the power of prayer prevails. Our Almighty God has guieded us many times and as I pray for all that face all sorrows I ask that you pray for my precious husband who brings such joy and strength to all that know him. God bless all of you.

Tucker
I want you to pray for a friend of mine. He is 21 and in the service and has been diagnosed with Lymphoma. It is in stage 4 and will find out tomorrow from a bone marrow if is in the bone. If so, the doctors are not very encouraged. He lost his dad just 2 months ago with a battle of 14 years of NHL and Leukemia. The family can handle this with your prayers and Gods help. His Mother is self-employed and needs to work but wants to be with him. He is 6 hours away from her. She is there as much as she can be. I thank you in advance for your prayers.

Amanda
Please pray for my sister-in-law Amanda, she is 35 years old and has just been diagnosed with Stage 4 Lymphoma. There was no warning she just felt sick in her stomach and went to the doctor and thats how she found out. They intend to start chemo on her soon but they say that the chances of survival are not good. They've found the cancer in her neck, spleen, liver, stomach and chest.
Please pray for my brother and her, that she will receive Jesus into her life and that she will overcome this and be healed. Pray that she will not give up and neither my brother. I believe that all things are possible through Christ, but right now everything seems so hard. Please, please pray for her healing and that the cancer will be gone.
Whoever is reading this thank you for your prayers. God
Bless.

Please pray for my husband Doug he just found out his Lymphomia has returned

stage the first time around and had a grapefruit sized tumor in his stomach
area and large tumors all over his head, that he was told for 3 years was
just cyst's caused by stress. That caused him to progress in his cancer to a
late stage. It was a very hard 1 1/2 for him with treatment not knowing if
he was going to make it.

Dear Friends,
My 16 year old nephew was recently diagnosed with stage 3 NHL. We are currently playing the very scary waiting game for course of treatment -- this all going on while my father was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer six weeks ago and has not long to live. Please send your thoughts to my nephew and my family -- there is great strength in numbers and prayers have a way of being answered.

Lee
Hello,
I would like to request continued prayer for my sweet husband, Lee. He was diagnosed with stage IV NHL (Bcell, low grade, follicular) in January of 2006 and has just completed his 4th chemo treatment. He has two left. His Oncologist told us that the cancer seems to be responding and that his lymph nodes appear 'resolved.' I know this is a good thing and that God is working through the chemo, Rituxin and doctors and I am so grateful to the Lord. I also know, through my research, that this is likely to recur. So, please pray for my husband, Lee that he won't be so sick from his chemo treatments and that he will be declared in remission after his last chemo treatment and that he will stay there for many, many years! He's young - only 46. I am 36 and we have so much life left to experience together!
Thank you for your prayers and encouragement.

My Dad was diagnosed with stage 4 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma at the age
of 54. The doctors said that his type is very aggressive, which
should have been better responding to the chemo. However, after six
months of chemo and many different types of chemo, the PET scan came
back without much change. All that pain and my dad was still the
same as the day they diagnosed him. Now they are giving him a 5-10%
chance for survival and my dad is making the choice to do no more
chemo. We have prayed and our church has prayed. I know that God
answers prayers and I know that he can answer all of ours, too!

my dad, charles miceli, just got a petscan that revealed lymph nodes in his stomach. thats all we know right now, biopsy to come. basically, before he gets the definitive results, we have this "grace period" where we can still hope for the best and pray for the miracle that it was all just some misunderstanding. its probably not, but i need your help, please. pray that its the best, most treatable form and that my dad is going to be ok. i need him, our family needs him. please pray for him and all the other people who have been randomly selected for this horrible test in life.

My father, 63 yrs old, has been fighting the evil disease of low grade NHL 8 years. Now, unfortunately, the disease seems to be winning the fight & refusing to go into remission after several courses of various chemotherapy treatments. The Dotor's are giving him a pretty grim prognosis of 12-18 months and that is only if he keeps receiving aggressive chemo treatment, which is leaving him bed-ridden, unable to eat or talk. My dad is a very independent, proud, and loving man. He is going to refuse any further treatment and leave it in God's hands. Him & my mother are raising one of their grandchildren, who is 5 yrs old; he is their rock. I humbling request any prayers for God's will to be for this disease to go inot a permanent remission, or at least a long enough one for him to enjoy life again with his loved ones. So many people are just as deserving for your prayers, so please pray for them, as my father would want, and just spare us some. Thanks.

On Nov.25, 2005 I was diagnosed with stage 3 Non Hodgskins NHL Follicular. I have had 2 Chemo treatments, my third one is Feb.2, 2006. I was on Tenncare Insurance, when Phil Bredasen became Governor of Tennessee I was removed from the plan, I filed an appeal and my insurance was extended to 12-31-2005, but they cut me off on 12-20-2005, just 2 days before my 1st. treatment. I had written the Appeals Board and told them the circumstances, but they denied me a hearing. I have no Insurance, and only draw Widows pension in the amount of $709.00 monthly, I pay out of that $346.28 monthly for prescription medicine. I have other bills and I have to eat. I am sorry to pour out my frustration on you, but I had to release some of my stress. Please pray if it is God's will I will be healed of this terrible disease, and also that they will see the errors of their ways and reinstatement me and others who need this insurance desperately. I pray that each and every one who are ill that God will reach down His healing hands and touch and heal you. If you would like to contact me, my E-Mail address is : bjdpow@aol.com. Love all of you. Thanks for listening to me.

Jack
My dad was just diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphomia. He will be turing 72 on 2/2/06. He was having trouble breathing and went to the hospital. They found out that he had blockage in his heart. They put stints in. They then found out that he had pnemonia. They couldn't figure out why his white blood cells were so high. He also has diabetes. Then he went to the "blood" doctor. That is how he found out about this cancer. He is very depressed and does not want to talk about it. He has 5 grandkids, and 4 children and of course my mom. They have been married 53 years. They are more active then my husband and myself, and we are in are early 40's!!! They are thinking of doing chemo on him, but he is on a blood thinner right now due to having stints put in. I am in the youngest in the family and I am close with my family. They don't like to tell me everything because I am emotional. I hate seeing people have to go through such agony. Can anyone explain to me what they have gone through with this and what the statistics are? I would appreciate any information that anyone has. Please keep my father "Jack" in your prayers. You can contact me at my email: janicetux@webtv.net.

Rick
My Dad, Rick, has chronic lymphocytic leukemia. He has been getting worse and worse. He went through chemotherapy, it however did not get him into remission. His doctor now wants him to start a more aggressive form of chemo. Right now he is in the hospital with pneumonia (a serious illness for someone with leukemia.) He also has issues with blockage in the left bundle branch of his heart. I don't know anymore than that, he was admitted into the hospital last night after his doctor sent him to the emergency room. I am asking that you will say a prayer for him and please pass this on to your family and friends and please ask them to pray for him. He is very sick (his form of leukemia is incurable. The Dr's are trying to get him into remission to buy him some more time.) Thank you for your prayers.
